Thanks for the additional background on the record, and the high D-flat notation :-)Der Binglehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04715110164755826620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5209364737662874604.post-81011850762287334122013-12-18T21:07:14.668-08:002013-12-18T21:07:14.668-08:00Shame, shame, shame on Decca for letting this one ...Shame, shame, shame on Decca for letting this one go out of print! I have this on LP (I bought it some time in the 1970s) and CD (from when Decca DID issue it), and it's gloriously wonderful, with Dame Joan in her absolute prime and ascending to dizzying heights effortlessly. (That's a high D-flat in "O Holy Night"!) Thank you for sharing this with everyone who hasn't yet heard this legendary singer.David in Tucsonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5209364737662874604.post-15403068209449076142013-12-12T14:33:59.688-08:002013-12-12T14:33:59.688-08:00says "file unavailable"?says "file unavailable"?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5209364737662874604.post-14665470205848341742013-12-09T07:02:16.409-08:002013-12-09T07:02:16.409-08:00Thanks much! Thanks much!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5209364737662874604.post-90269157002386236972013-12-09T04:01:13.297-08:002013-12-09T04:01:13.297-08:00Thank you for this Dame Joan treat!Thank you for this Dame Joan treat!DonHo57https://www.blogger.com/profile/10485603546344590259noreply@blogger.com
